Knowledge of the camera lens digital SLR is right for you?

When shopping for a digital SLR, or sparing people often overlook the camera lens. Photographic lenses are used as digital slr cameras "eye," the lens determines what and how you see your camera on and how well this point of view of transferring chip camera sensor for recording. I like the camera lens so the air brush painting in broad, medium-Stokes, every small detail brush cleaner. There is much to learn about digital slr camera lenses and in this article to understand how a basic structure to them to serve. The following section describes the basic types of digital slr camera lenses, how they work and how they want.

Focal

On a digital slr camera the focal length of the lens the distance between the lens and the measures of the image sensor, measured inMillimeters. Slowly as possible, normal, are classified into subgroups, like the first telephoto, macro, wide angle and zoom. They are also related to the evaluation of f-stop or speed of an example of this would be a F2.0 50mm or 1.4 F 80mm lens. Explained later in this article.

Prime lenses:

Prime lenses with fixed focal length, like a 50mm 1.4f. To extend this type of contact lenses you must use your feet andnear or far from the subject. Traditionally, the main objectives are sharper and faster than zoom lenses. When you're on a budget can get some amazing old lenses first used eBay or your local camera shop.

Macro:

Macro lenses are washed, the details that allow close and personal with the subject. This type of lens for extreme close-ups of small objects, such as those usedDaisy, money and food, but not limited to these types of problems. Examples of macro lenses are 50 millimeters and 100 millimeters macro. These lenses are also ideal for the types of selective focus photos.

Wide angle lenses

Wide-angle lenses are the broad brush stroke, these types of lenses have focal lengths. The short focal length has the visual effect of "pushing" the subject away from you and appear smaller. Beautyis of wide-angle lenses, you can adapt relatively close to the subject and a maximum stroke of the background of the scene.

One problem with wide angle lenses, the convergence is well known that a distortion makes vertical structures appear to lean toward the center of the frame. One way to check if you have wide angle lenses you are interested in proof of convergence to take pictures before buying the lens. With high quality slow corners as Canon L-SeriesLentils address this problem and convergence. Examples of wide-angle lenses are 15mm, 17mm, 24mm and 28 millimeters lens.

Normal lenses:

Normal lens to try to mimic how the human eye sees are just some of the most versatile lenses you can use. These are my all-purpose brushes are halfway between a wide angle and telephoto lenses. If you only buy one lens to try and buy the fastest lenses you can like a normal50 millimeters 1.4f lens. Some examples of standard lenses are 35mm, 50mm, 65mm, and some in possession of a lens 80 millimeters normal.

Tele:

Lenses with focal lengths greater than 100 mm telephoto. Greater focal length seems to bring the issue closer look and increases the size of the subject in the frame. Telephoto Give your subjects a graphic, and remove to your topic. These objectivesQuickly are my brushes.

Zoom lenses:

Zoom lenses are special because they can be very versatile. This type of lenses are distinguished by their focal length and there are many wide angle, telephoto and wide angle to telephoto. In my pocket I put a wide angle of 17 millimeters to 35 millimeters of the brush width, 24 millimeters to 70 millimeters, the medium brush, and a 80 millimeters to 200 millimeters of my brief brush. With these three lenses I have a very board range of focal lengths for each situation. All I at least F2.8 across the zoom range, which means that my f-stop, can remain constant, while I'm in and zoom out. Such lenses are very expensive, but how to get what you pay for. When shopping for a zoom lens check out the f-stop range rating. An example is a 24 mm to 300mm F3.5-F5.6 lens meaning the lowest f-stop you can 'shoot them is the range of 24 millimeters lens, and if you zoom to 200mm the lowest you can go is f5.6. Zoom> Lenses you flexibility and versatility in a single objective. When buying a zoom lens and attempt that is made of glass and the fastest you can afford, you will not regret it.

To understand what the different groups of lenses will help you buy, better informed decisions about the objectives and what you can plug in your camera bag.

slr lens camera cheap second hand

These lenses are cheap second hand and more suitable for this exercise as you can control the aperture on the lens. In the interest of transparency: I've made some small corrections to the Phone-O-Scope images times. I think a lot of the image artifacts are down to the extreme magnifier stack. And the best bit about that is that I can say with reasonable certainty that it'll be impossible to ever get those same shots ever again. Technical issues aside, I'd also say that there is something to be said for having an unpredictable mechanism that prevents you from getting the same photo twice. This is a significant contributor to the chromatic aberration observed.

The image quality issues come down to two main factors: 1) Optical axis alignment. Image quality As I'd mentioned earlier, the point of this mod is to learn what is needed to successfully build an optical coupler. Don't forget to attach a bit of cardboard at the back to prevent too much light leakage into the mechanism. Attach the bottom connector to the camera phone case using thin strips of duct tape. Attach the SLR lens just and verify that your measurements are right. The distance that you get from the cardboard tubes should be the same as when the PVC connectors are roughly screwed together halfway, so you get lots of room to move them back and forth. Use the measurements for the top and bottom cardboard tubes to figure out how much you'll need to trim the PVC connectors. It was important that the connectors could be connected via a screw thread - this way we can move the whole SLR lens back and forth for secondary focusing.

Components for the actual adapter. If you find that all your images are heavily vignetted, you'll need to add another lens to the magnifier stack. The tricky part now is to get this working mechanism to make a picture. Attach this whole mechanism over the camera phone and magnifier. Start off by taking two sections of tubing, one slightly narrower than the other so it can slide inside the other. However, if you lack the equipment for proper measurement, you can estimate by building a set of sliding tubes with an SLR lens attached. The proper thing to do is do some proper calculations involving the measured actual magnification of the lens stack and the flange focal distance of the SLR lens.

The depth of field is rubbish but the magnification is huge. Just out of interest - this turns the cameraphone into a pretty decent microscope. This is so that they can be assembled together and handled as a single unit. I wrapped a thin layer of putty around the edges of the stacked lenses to stick thin strips of paper around the edges of the lenses. The proper thing to do is do some proper calculations involving the measured actual magnification of the lens aperture ; the more you can magnify, the less vignetted the image will be.

Sigma 70-300mm f/4-5.6 DG Macro Telephoto Zoom Lens for Canon SLR Cameras

The Sigma 70-300mm F4-5.6 EX DG Macro Lens for Canon SLR Cameras is a telephoto lens that offers excellent performance and the cost is optimized for use with digital SLR cameras. Capable of macro photography, this lens has a 1:2 maximum magnification close to 300 mm focal length. E 'the ideal high performance for portraits, sports photography, nature photography, and other types of photography that frequently use the telephoto lens. The lens has a switch for changeover to macro photography at focal lengths between 200 millimeters and 300 millimeters, with a fat to a maximum magnification of 1:2.9 to 1:2.
Treatment of slow multi-layers and the design of the lens to reduce flare and ghosting, a common problem with digital cameras and also creates an optimum color balance in any zoom range. The minimum distance of fire is 59 inches at all zoom settings. The lens has a switch for changeover to macro photography at focal length of 200 mm and 300 mm with a maximum magnification of large size up. Without changing the distance between camera and subject, you can change the magnification shooting.

I hesitated to buy this objective for my Nikon D40x - probably looked at this list of six or seven times before making the purchase. Honestly I was worried about how it is inexpensive. Now, I'm probably a very average amateur photographer most of my pictures are family stuff: kids, sports, parties, birthdays, etc.. But this does not mean I'm willing to compromise on quality to save money, and I know the Nikon 55-200 is the quality of the lens.

But I bought it based on an assessment of Michael Del Priore (his was the only magazine at the moment) - I thought at that price (especially compared with the Nikon 55-200), why not give it a shot, and I m happy I did.

This is an excellent achievement. The motor autofocus is fast and does not chew the battery (I was worried about this, but I took about 170 pictures of my son play two Saturdays ago, and do not use the battery more than the Nikon 35-70 lens that came with your device). As "cinderoo" I had no problem of stabilization is to talk about, snapping away even 12 years following the Old Boys run down a field. This may be more of a problem with macro photography, but I assume that most of the photos (albeit limited) macro that I would probably with a tripod anyway.

Now, no one would take me for a professional photographer, but I can tell you that when I take the photos taken with the D40x and the Sigma on my 24 "iMac and the full screen view, are * all * I looking for when I decided to switch to a DSLR.

SLR lens camera super telephoto lenses and Macro Lens for Nikon D40 .. D40X .. D60

I bought the Sigma 70-300mm F4-5.6 DG Macro objective for my Nikon D40 .. the goal is a motor autofocus and not very well .. with the Nikon D60 and D40 D40X ..
Shot mostly landscapes, animals, birds and flowers, and took pictures with this nice 70-300mm telephoto lens and Macro Lens. This objective is not the image stabilization, however, with the objective without a tripod, there seems to be a big problem, because I have not had many blurred photos .. The goal is a very reasonable price for the amateur photographer ..

I shared some of my recent photos that I had with this objective that will be published in this list, with my Amazon review.

The aim is sent immediately by 47th Street Photo was received in two days.

I recommend the Sigma 70-300mm F4-5.6 EX DG Macro Lens.
